For those of you who don't know, GLADD stand for Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. As you all know, halfway through the third season of Grey's Anatomy, TR Knight, who is openly gay was verbally attacked by his castmate Isaiah Washington who played Dr. Preston Burke. Washington was reprimanded, asked to publicly apologize and was eventually let go, which I personally believe to be the best course of action. Discrimination of any form should not be tolerated, especially amongst those who work closely. Anyways, TR Knight (Dr. George O'Malley) and Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) have put out PSAs to spread the word that hate is unnecessary and counterproductive. Ok, so maybe that's how I feel about hate and discrimination, but you get the point. Sara recently filmed her GLAAD PSA in spanish.
