My! I Have So Much To Tell You All!

First up:

Patrick Dempsey is opening a cancer care center called The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing. And though you may think that Eric Dane's recent cancer scare may have prompted this, it is in fact his mother's ovarian cancer scare that started the project. And it seems to be a family affair as Dempsey's sister will be running the center as its new coordinator while Patrick focuses on the public education campaign. Patrick says his mother's fight which began 10 years ago left him feeling lost and hopeless and without much information on the subject. He hopes this center will not only help families fight the cancer, but educate them on the disease. Patrick's mother is luckily cancer free and in remission. The center will open on march 31 in his hometown of Maine.

Next:

Katherine Heigl is kind of a full time brat on the set of Grey's Anatomy. Rumors have been swirling that she wants out of her contract and that if it were up to her, Izzie would be killed off. Now, why on Earth would Katherine want to drop out of the show that made her famous? Why, to focus on her ever so popular movie career, that's why! Seems Katherine is a little worried that being tied down to one of the biggest shows to ever air on television will prevent the little princess from being that big time movie star she's always dreamed of being. I'm sorry Katherine, but to bail out on the show that gave you your popularity will only serve to make you less popular. And, your movies aren't that great. They're cute. They're kitchy. But come on, Katherine. You're not exactly Drew Barrymore or Julia Roberts.

But don't worry folks, Katherine's not going anywhere. She still has two more years left on her contract and jumping ship early would only cause her a lot of headaches she doesn't want. However, this is not the first issue ABC has had with the darling diva. Last year, as a fairly new actress on the scene, Katherine got into an argument with her producers about her salary and claimed they didn't value her as much as Sandra Oh. (News flash Katherine, Sandra has been around forever. And she's brilliant. Don't go preparing yourself to have your hand-prints immortalized in front of Grauman's on Hollywood Boulevard just yet.)

And Finally:

Guess who has some spoilers for the upcoming new episodes of Grey's Anatomy? I do!

Spoiler Alert!
If you don't want to know what happens, stop reading. I'm ending this post with spoilers on purpose. Don't worry, you won't miss any news.

Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly a few tasty tidbits about the direction Grey's Anatomy will be moving in future episodes. Shonda says she would love for Meredith and McDreamy to get together for real and explore what it means to be in a serious committed relationship. However, Nurse Rose (or the slutty nurse as I so lovingly refer to her) will be appearing in five more episodes. So we're not quite rid of McDreamy's other love interest quite yet. And finally, Jane Doe will be back for three more episodes. (I believe Shonda is referring to the lovely Ava)

Whew. That was a lot of news to cover. Well, enjoy!
