The controversy surrounding Isaiah Washington and his gay bashing of openly gay co-star T.R Knight (AKA Dr. George O'Malley) seems not to have completely imploded his acting career, as many thought it would. NBC has decided to cast Isaiah Washington in a guest role as Antonio Pope for the show
Bionic Woman. Isaiah appeared in the following five episodes:
Trust Issues, The Education of Jamie Sommers, Faceoff, Sisterhood, and Paradise Lost.
So since the runaway hit of ABC's
Grey's Anatomy, Isaiah Washington has had a career consisting of five episodes as a guest on a show I have heard absolutely nothing about. On the one hand, his career hasn't completely deflated. But on the other hand, he managed to screw up the best thing that ever happened to him as an actor.
I still think he deserves it.
