Katherine Heigl, who plays Izzie Stevens, is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses. Not only is she adorably sweet on Grey's Anatomy, but her performance in Knocked Up was hilarious as a no-nonsense woman who finds herself pregnant after a one night stand with an immature, goofy guy.
Now she is starring in a new movie called 27 Dresses where she plays a woman always destined to be a bridesmaid and never the bride. Her situation is further complicated by the fact that she is now the bridesmaid in her sister's wedding and she's in love with the groom!
Katherine Heigl is fantastic and I absolutely cannot wait to see what she does with this part. The movie opens in theatres January 11th, 2008. This gives me a solid month to guilt my boyfriend into bringing me to see it.
But in real life, Katherine has no problem landing a man. Actually, she's set to marry Josh Kelley (a singer) on December 23. And apparently T.R Knight (George O'Malley on Grey's) is going to be one of her bridesmaids. How cute is that?
