Kate Walsh Backs Barack

Kate Walsh is throwing her weight behind Barack Obama and has decided to support his campaign. She spoke at a rally supporting Barack Obama last night at Texas A&M University. Kate has been traveling across country with the Barack Bandwagon in support of the presidential candidate. Initially Kate thought she would vote for Hillary, that is until she met Barack at the 2004 Democratic Convention. The first thing Barack did upon meeting the Private Practice star was to congratulate her on her spin-off, which earned him Kate Walsh's undying support. Walsh was also impressed with the diversity amongst his supporters, who span all races and ages.

Though all of this is fantastic, and I believe that people should vote for whoever they want, I don't really see any persuasive points in her speech. Essentially, Barack buttered her up by catering to her ego concerning her spin-off. And that's why Kate thinks you should vote for him? Personally, I'm voting for Barack as well, but only because he seems to be the lesser of all evils. Kate, if you want people to vote for Barack, you need to give them a reason. A reason beyond the fact that he apparently likes your show. How about his position on health care? Or maybe his plan for Iraq? Ooo! I know! His education plan. Seriously, Kate. Pick one. Research his views, and then support him and try to convince others to vote for him.
